I started out buying my son Pediped and Stride Rite shoes when he started walking, but Pediped styles don't appeal to me at all, and lately Stride Rite's lack of XW shoes has been irritating. It seems that even the XW shoes aren't wide enough. So I started looking around for other options and came across Jumping Jacks. They have XW! I bought these a full size bigger than what my 2-year-old is wearing so that he will have lots of room to grow, and they seem to fit fine, not sloppy or clunky. They seem fairly lightweight and the soles are nice and flexible with a roomy toe box, which appears to be reinforced on the outside.I love the foot sizer on the bottom of the shoe. What a neat idea! The color is good because brown goes with everything. I like that they come in half sizes. The one complaint I have about these is that they are made of mostly synthetic materials and a little pricey at almost 45 bucks. I would expect more leather at that price point, but there is a lot of mesh. These fit nice and wide, and the 2 velcro straps are easy to get on and off for a toddler. I only gave 4 stars because I found them a bit heavy and stiff. They'd probably be great in a cooler climate, but I was looking for a sneaker that was more breathable for the hot summers. A very good shoe, overall!I just got these shoes for my son and I already love them! They fit him well and look like they are good quality. I'm happy that I got them for $12.99! It's difficult to find wide shoes for toddlers and even more difficult to find them at an affordable price. Thank you Jumping Jacks!Just received these shoes and my 2yr old loves them and can't wait to wear them tomorrow. I ordered the same shoe in a 1/2 size smaller and am returning. This is of no fault but my own. True to size for my toddler and appear to be very comfortable. Shipped exactly as advertised and arrived exactly when it was supposed to. I would recommend this brand and shoe if you're looking at these. I'm a happy Mom knowing my child is comfortable.Held up well, but was outgrown sooner than expected, because I thought I was buying a half-size large (based on measurements from Stride Rite) but the shoe barely fit length-wise as soon as we got it. (The width was fine, though, and it's hard to find a decently priced XW shoe.) I'd buy it again- I'd just size up more than I thought I needed to.These sneakers are not only attractive, but also seem quite comfortable. They flex easily and the Velcro tabs are strong to stay secure while he is running and playing. I like the loop in the back that helps me get them all the way on after he has stepped into them. They are not too heavy and so far appear to be a high quality shoe for a toddler. My son has two pairs of shoes as well as winter boots. Since these arrived, they are by far his favorite pair. These were fantastic shoes for my son, and I'm so sad that he's finally outgrown them. They double velcro holds nice, and it has the flexible sole while also being fairly "sturdy" for every day use. The blue is very nice too, and we'd often get compliments on his shoes when he wore them.Excellent shoes. My son loves them and he is only 2. I like them because they are easy to put on and off but they stay snug and do not slip off. He also runs well in them and does not trip or slip on the ground. They are nothing fancy but are perfect for the price.
