It's really hard to find a watermelon shirt for my boy that isn't all pink and girly! Why are boys not allowed to like watermelon? Or any fruit for that matter! Boys should be able to have fruit on their clothes, too! Well my toddler boy loves watermelon and is really jealous of his sister, who has easy-to-find watermelon-themed clothes. So I had to find something for him, too. I like that this shirt comes in white as well as pink, and isn't unnecessarily gendered. The watermelon face is cute. The shirt would've been perfect, if not for a couple of annoying things. First, the colors are really faded and old-looking. Nothing like the bright, saturated red in the picture. More like a dull dark pink. But the most annoying thing is that there's black text underneath the image! I'm guessing the company name or something like that. On the face of the damn shirt!!! It's not even incorporated into the design in any way, just typed up ugly black text under the watermelon slice! I didn't see it at all in the product image. It looks very small there, but it's bigger in real life and an eyesore. Looks like a mistake. Like somebody stole the image off the internet and forgot to erase the watermark or copyright. It's really annoying... But my 2-year-old doesn't care, so whatever. It will cost the shirt some stars though.
